Don't know who this is, but he is busting a big one over that abused little island. Notice the Simplex sticker plastered on his chest

During my brief and confusing stint at the unfortunately named Wavedancer, I did get to do some really fun stuff. I put on demos a lot and spent time nurturing local talent, hooking up sponsorships and organizing contests. All told I loved the job, whatever it was and I loved skating, snowboarding and surfing while technically being paid.

One demo that stood out was the H Street demo. Matt Hensley, Ron Allen and a couple other people just fucking tore anything and everything apart. They seemed like my kind of people. Irreverent, energetic and a little out-of-control. When the demo was over, they wanted to go skate. Cool with me.

Hensley boardslides a flatbed at Pace ©2010 Kenny Gibbs

Hensley was pretty amped to skate. Anything. He turned anything into a session. Case in point: this Pace flatbed cart.

Sean Sheffey was part of the demo and killed it. He pretty much ruled.
